Rethink Training’s Innovative Online System Can Help Florida Companies Continue to Expand

Chief Executive Magazine’s recent survey of Chief Executive Officers named Florida the second best state in the country in which to conduct business. With jobs on the rise, efficient training is even more essential for companies of all sizes.

(Clearwater, Fla.,) – Florida is the second best state in the country in which to conduct business, according to Chief Executive magazine. The publication’s eighth annual survey of Chief Executive Officers regarding the best and worst states in which to do business with placed Florida behind Texas, which has earned the top spot all eight years. With Florida’s reputation as an ideal spot for companies to locate – and new jobs on the rise in the state – productive training is becoming even more essential for businesses, according to Rafferty Pendery, whose company Studio98 created Rethink Training, a web-based learning system that allows businesses to provide customized training solutions via its cloud-based service.

Florida’s business climate has been fueled by business tax cuts and regulatory reforms from Gov. Rick Scott’s administration that have assisted in the creation of more than 140,000 private sector jobs along with a drop of 2.1 percentage points in the unemployment rate last year. Proper training allows businesses to continue to their growth, retain employees and help further decrease unemployment rate.

“When the job market grows, there is more competition among companies to attract and retain qualified and talented employees,” Pendery said. “Efficient and cost-effective training helps new team members quickly become productive, and it also allows them to feel more motivated and excited about their respective job because they feel comfortable and confident.”

Rethink Training is rapidly emerging as a resource for companies, many of which are incorporating online training to improve efficiency and decrease costs, Pendery said. There is no hardware to purchase or software to install since Rethink Training is a cloud-based service. Any company with access to the internet can create, manage and/or study a course. Training materials can be published and instantly accessed by employees or clients/customers.

Rethink Training’s online system allows new hires to quickly become knowledgeable with their new employer’s products or services. It gives users the ability to create training materials (from scratch or through a company’s existing content), complete courses and grade the results. The fundamental elements of the web-based coursework include documents, essays, quizzes and streaming video content. Since Rethink Training is online, it eliminates the need to physically place students with trainers. Coursework can be updated without redistributing materials, allowing new training updates to be immediately implemented.

Using cutting-edge web technology, Rethink Training creates a seamless training experience for trainers and trainees – whether they are in the same office or on different continents.  A finely tuned AJAX interface creates a fast and interactive tool that exceeds the expectations of traditional web software. It also features a robust HTTP API and a brand-able interface for customers who prefer a deep integration and seamless experience with their existing technology and websites.  Users can even sell their coursework to the public, taking credit card payments through their preferred payment gateway.

“By simplifying and enhancing the training process, Florida companies can improve their productivity and become a workplace that retains employees for the long term,” Pendery said. “Rethink Training gives businesses the capability to make training more interesting and more effective while cutting the costs associated with old and outdated training methods.”
