The heat between Facebook and Google is still ongoing – this may be “old news” since it was posted 4 days ago. Been following the story, but this post on the Washington Post sums it up pretty well. Embarrassing for a PR firm to take part in a black PR campaign – there are other methods PR-wise to fight the battle to a victory, but engaging in whisper campaign tactics only backfire when found out. Facebook may be shamed, but the PR firm now has a dirty mark on its reputation.
